Summary:Proof that Tony Stark has a heart." Tony picked up the paper attached to the post it that Pepper had sent him. After unraveling it, he stared at the picture in horror. He was looking down at Steve’s body and his face his damn face is what said it all. Steve was lying on the rubble under a taxi and Tony was trying to see if he was responsive. His face was almost in agony looking down at Steve. In this high resolution photo you could almost see the tears that Tony was holding back ("There was a lot of dust!" he kept telling Clint afterwards) They'd just finished fighting a couple of nasty robots when the last one hurled a taxi at Steve and knocked him down trapping him under the thing. Tony was going to sue whoever publish this photo, no not sue BANKRUPT them to be precise!!
Pepper had sent him the original picture the photographer had taken. She had attached it to the original article which it was published in.The Headline read "Are things steaming up behind the scenes for playboy billionaire Tony Stark and whole some apple pie Steve Rogers?" Great, just great! thought Tony, now I got to deal with this.
Notes: I posted one warning because I intend for his fic to be relatively happy one (what can I say I'm a total sap!) This is my first shot at writing fanfiction so comments would be very much appreciated! :) Also Stony will not happy for a couple of chapters but if you like arguments/sexual tension/and buildup you'll like this. ;D

Hello!

New to the fandom, but I think I've mainlined pretty much everything since the Avengers trailer was released. So much love for this pairing, and between that trailer and XMFC and the Iron Man movies, I think I might be ready to repair the rift I've had with Marvel since Xmen Xtreme in the early aughts and actually start reading the comics again.

Anyway! Since it's November and I signed up for nano with the intent of writing all of the fic and Tony Stark is pretty much the greatest thing, ever, I come bearing porn. (Peace porn, so much more effective than olive branches, really!)

I'd love to have a second set of eyes go over it before posting. One that's familiar with the fandom and characters, and the lovely

valtyr said that I could post a search here. (Thanks, bb! :) )

So, anyone up for beta reading ~~~4000~~ 5000 words (OMG, what??) of Steve/Tony fisting? SPAG should be fine, but I'd really like some input on the dynamic and Steve's voice, in particular.

Hello all! I have decided it is time to delurk, mostly out of desperation at not having very many comics friends and no one who is really into Steve/Tony or the Avengers to talk to. (Seriously, I have been stalking this comm from the lurker shadows for about two months now.) Mostly I am looking for people to talk to, hopefully over some form of instant messenger since that is where most of my word vomitting goes, and potentially a fic beta with the patience and forbearance to talk me through my musing process.

Hey *waves*. I'm a pretty much lifelong comic fangirl, who hadn't been able to really keep up with any series the past couple of years (why, hobbies? Why must you cost money? and /growing up sucks rant). I missed (and, *ulp*, still haven't read) Civil War, was never particularly a huge fan of the Avengers or of Captain America... and then I saw something with these two, and it just hit me hard, and I've been obsessed with the pairing since (and developed a new serious love for Cap as well as Tony). Hi there, cap_ironman. We're Twins_Eternal and have commented before but haven't really had anything to bring to the community until now ^_^

So, to satisfy our own curiosity, we're taking the floor plans to the Avengers Mansion and making a fully furnished model in Google SketchUp ^_^ But we're not well versed in anything prior to Avengers Disassembled (but we've we're waiting for the Classics to come in at the library). So if anyone either has pics of what some of the rooms look like, or if you know any of the issues where we could find refs for their bedrooms and the like, it would be much appreciated <3

Hey there, I've been more or less lurking for a couple weeks here, so I figured I'd finally pop in and say 'Hi' *waves*

I also come bearing a request. I'm brand new to the fandom, so I'm reading up as much as I can on the old comics. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find any reprints or scans of the Obadiah Stane story arc, which contained Tony's second struggle with alcoholism, and I can only assume the infamous Cap-carrying-Tony-out-of-a-burning-building scene (of course, if I'm wrong, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong). I can't imagine they don't have a trade paperback of it somewhere, seeing as this story line was more or less featured in the movie.

Anyways, if anyone has any scans or something, I'd love to see them :D

Annnnd, to make this not all just mooching, I come bearing a drabble and some icons as well.
