Hello, all. I am a bit behind the times and have finally gotten a tumblr. I'm not sure how often this tumblr will be used, that is neither here nor there. What is both here and there, is that I really don't navigate tumblr much outside of what other people send me. And since there's no one currently in the irc channel to ask, I figured I'd post here.

What tumblr blogs do I go to for a Steve/Tony fix? Or tags. I'm not sure I've figured out how the tags really work across tumblr, mostly because China hates tags (and all of tumblr at the moment, but that's beside the point). I've got the com tumblr followed, but I know that can't be all there is out there. Basically, give me all of your favorite Steve/Tony or Avenger-y things. Or otherwise just discuss fandom on tumblr. Both work for me.

Hi. I need a beta for a big bang that is due in July. These are the story details:

Title: Undo
Universe: 616
Pairings: Steve/Tony (established), Rhodey/Tony, ends with Steve/Tony/Rhodey (sort of)
Rating: R
Warning: mental issues, self-harm, mentions of torture, canon typical violence, (assumed) temporary character death
Word count: almost 70,000
Summary: In an attempt to steal information from Tony Stark's brain, the villains of the week accidentally unlock the memories Tony lost after deleting his mind. Now he remembers everything, but it's all fresh and raw and without logical order. Worst of all, he remembers Steve dying, but has no recollection of him coming back. As a result, seeing Steve just makes everything worse, and the memories Tony has of their recent relationship make no sense and drive him crazy.
Consequently, Steve gets banned from seeing Tony until he gets better and it's Rhodey who gets to be there for his friend while Tony struggles not to fall apart. Steve, meanwhile, gets to deal with the media, who have just now learned of Captain America and Iron Man's romantic involvement. It is not something he excels at.
And then things get worse.

English isn't my native language, so I need someone to correct my grammar and find those elusive typos. I also appreciate it when plot holes are pointed out to me, or things that don't make sense.

Dear avengers, I've been lurking around for a while and wonder if anyone has seen a fic like this: Steve liked Howard back in the days and maybe/maybe not they had something (before Howard had family). And now, when he sees Tony, he sees Howard. So he kinda has a relationship with Tony, with the impression he's another Howard, etc. Tony loves Steve and has giant daddy issues, finding this out and things just go down to hell from that point. H/C probably but happy ending. Not easy to search this on ao3 right now since they took down the advance search for traffic. Hope to try my luck here. Thanks a lot!!

I re-watched The Avengers yesterday and have been on a reading rampage of Hulk proportions ever since. A trope I really like is the whole Steve and Tony adopt/raise Peter Parker thing. I've looked in the tags and haven't found anyone else requesting them, so I apologize if this isn't allowed. If it is, just throw all fics like that my way.

I don't care if it's AU, comics canon, movie canon, whatever. Peter can be any age, though bb!Peter is always especially fun. Steve and Tony can be married/established or not. I'll take fluff, angst, G--NC-17, what have you. I'd even love all recs of Steve, Tony (or even another Avenger) mentoring Peter, who may only be a fellow hero to them, albeit younger. Cute art with this premise is also welcome.

Just...don't tell me new!Peter isn't asking for it? Andrew Garfield really looks like he can be their love child! *waits patiently*

I'm looking for time travel fics here. Not fic where someone goes back to the 40s and sees little Steve or anything like that- I want fic where Tony is on a mission for the Avengers and is hit by some crazy magic and wakes up sometime before he's set to head off to Afghanistan. Something where he can go and make all sorts of changes early- make his suit, change around the company, get Stane thrown in prison, and, most importantly, go fish out Steve and hide him in his mansion and go offer his new best friend Bruce Banner a job.

Does *anything* like this exist? Pairings don't matter to me- it can be het, slash, gen, whatever.

Hello, I hope you guys can help me.

I'm looking for a pic of a young Tony Stark with Dummy (the robotic arm). I came across it on Tumblr, but I failed to save it, and it won't leave me alone.

The picture is kinda like a news-clipping of when Tony first built Dummy (there was an article underneath). The pic is black-and-white (I think) and in it Tony is crouching next to Dummy. I think the article called it an 'award-winning robot' (possibly).

Hi All,

I'm sorry to do this so soon again, but the memory of this fanfic is eating my cognitive functions.

I believe it was movie!'verse Avengers. Everyone thinks Tony's bisexual, Cap makes a pass at Tony, and there was a scene involving Widow, Hawkeye and Tony at a male strip joint. Tony is completely uninterested in the stripper, but maybe, perhaps interested in Steve. I remember Tony bolted to Rhodey at one point, to see if he was turned on by him.

Anybody have any thoughts? Help me comm; you're my only hope.

My request: DOES ANYONE HAVE PICS OF THE RED THONG INCIDENT? I've been slowly picking up ... graphic novels? Nicely bound comics? as the mood strikes, but they've been all over the place story-wise. I mostly pick ones where the art really grabs me, and then my poor brain has to figure out wtf universe it's written in, why people are different/the same/ love each other/hate each other, etc.

I'd love to see some iconic moments. Especially ones where I might not be able to find them on my own.

Everyone here has been tremendously nice about guiding newbies to the world of comics in their purchases, so my first thought earlier this evening when I spotted an entire display of Avengers comics in a Half Price Books was to ask you guys.

They had an "Essential Iron Man Volume 2" at a very reasonable price. It appeared to have a lot of older issues of "Tales of Suspense" featuring Captain America and Iron Man. I love Tony and adore shipping him with Steve.

What are your thoughts on this volume? Snatch it up? What makes it good? Ignore it? What makes it not so good?

Okay, okay, you've got me. The films have successfully introduced me to the fabulousness that is Tony/Steve, so I've got to ask.

What comic collections do you recommend? I've heard fantastic things about the Iron Man: Extremis collection by Warren Ellis for instance, but other than that I'm sort of lost at sea. It seems like any collection that one person enjoys, another despises for one reason or another. So I turn to my fandom brethren (sistren? bresistren?) for your recommendations—dearest fandom, where should I turn to for excellent characterization, art and plot in our marvel universe?

Our 2012 Reverse Bang is going well, and we have the majority of artists paired up with authors, but we're still a few people short.

The writing minimum is a mere 6k (rules and dates are here), and there's some great pictures and ideas left unclaimed (why has no one picked up wee Steve? Why? I want a story for that like burning!)

If you're interested, please consider clicking through to look at the unclaimed art, and maybe picking up a story. I did last time around, and had a huge amount of fun with it.

(If all the art gets claimed, and authors are still interested, I'll open up for secondary claims as well.)

Hi, long time lurker here.
I read a multi-chaptered fic a long time ago, and I can't seem to be able to find it again.

In it, Tony becomes the caretaker to a little girl. This girl is a clone of Steve Rogers/Captain America and had been trained to be a killing machine, similarly to X-23. I think at the beginning everyone thought Steve was dead, if that helps.

Please help me on this, it won't leave me alone. T.T

I was out driving today when suddenly I felt the urge to read angsty Tony/Steve infidelity fic(which isn't so ooc for me tbh). Tell me there are some good ones out there? I do enjoy happy/hopeful endings(who doesn't!), but I'll take anything.
