Friending Meme!
After yesterday's news broke, I shared it on my LJ and realized that nobody on my friends-list cared. So clearly I need new friends.
Coupling that with the fact that there's no such thing as too many friending memes, an obvious solution arose.
(Also, I have no idea how to tag this...)

Age: 20
Hobbies/typical contents of your LJ: I'm an all-purpose dork, currently working a summer job at a bookstore before absconding for a semester abroad in Havana; after that, it'll probably be back to the normal mix of school, school drama, and fandom.
So why do you ship Steve/Tony? Because there's pretty much no way to read Rubicon and/or the Confession without shipping them.
Favorite Steve/Tony moment? The bagel moment at the beginning of New Avengers. ♥
Spoiler policy: I revel in them.
Other fandoms: It's a very long list, but right now the big fandoms are Star Trek and Doctor Who - for a full list, if I have an icon of it (http://www.livejournal.com/allpics.bml?user=kiarasayre), I'm probably fannish about it. (Still looking for a good Avengers icon...)
Other pairings: I'm a gen girl at heart, but when I do go for pairings they tend to be slash or femmeslash.
Anything else? My journal's friends-only; my public fic is at

Hobbies/typical contents of your LJ: I don't use my journal often, I hang out more in comms and my flist
So why do you ship Steve/Tony? Because they neeeeed eachother
Favorite Steve/Tony moment? Dunno
Spoiler policy: Don't care one way or the other
Other fandoms: Star Trek, Supernatural, various Marvel, Leverage, there's a lot.
Other pairings: Wolverine/Gambit, Kirk/McCoy, there are a lot of these as well.
Anything else? Nothing in particular, just ask I suppose.

I had that problem too, but my conversion to the awesome is relatively recent, and most of my flist comes from the manga/anime/games side of the
worldinternet. :P My own fault for about-facing so quickly.Name: Crystal/
Age: 25
Hobbies/typical contents of your LJ: Lately I do a lot of random flailing, but all things yaoi/slash permeate my existence. I post fanfiction, but not much lately since my poor belovéd beta has had real life eat her and I feel bad for piling it on.
So why do you ship Steve/Tony? First off, I should admit that I am not naturally a girl for western comics. I followed manga and pointedly ignored my own side of the world for many a year. So, cross my heart and hope to wipe my harddrive, it all started for the pretty, but various fics (you know which ones—Yeah, those) quickly showed me how Tony's woobie-factor combines with Cap's protective-factor and creates one giant ball of awesome.
Favorite Steve/Tony moment? The "azure eyes" moment. Really, Tony? Azure?
Spoiler policy: They are necessary for me. I need happy endings, but in something that really doesn't have an ending, I at least like to be able to brace myself.
Other fandoms: (deep breath) Kingdom Hearts, Harry Potter, Discworld, various anime, various manga, Final Fantasy XII— (shuts up before she rambles)
Other pairings: In Marvel U, none really.
Anything else? My fics are over at
unless I break down and start working on that Steve/Tony plotline I dreamed up for that Pern fusion that's in waiting for beta. Which... kind of sucks, but there we have it. FEAR ME, for I am random and easy to mock. :D/spends way too much time on a meme

Favorite Steve/Tony moment? wherever they're interacting together. aka mostly fanfics
Spoiler policy: I <3 them hardcore since I are poor college stuudent
Other fandoms: X-Men, Japanese Rock, Kingdom Hearts, Weiss Kreuz, and many more

Me: -facepalm-
Name: Jamie/[Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com]
Age: 19
Hobbies/typical contents of your LJ: life recounts, fandom-babbling, memes. All-purpose journal, really. I update quite a bit but no more than twice a day (or three times depending if one post is just solely fic) but they're at least substantial posts so I don't spam people with whiny one-liners.
So why do you ship Steve/Tony? Because it's canon, pretty much. I don't ship anything without canon backing
Favorite Steve/Tony moment? Not a particular moment, really. I just love whenever Tony carries Steve around in flight.
Spoiler policy: I'm odd. I don't like surprises but I do at the same time. But I usually ruin them for myself anyway because I can't resist clicking on it.
Other fandoms: Marvel in general (including but not limited to various incarnations X-Men, FF, Young Avengers, Runaways...etc.), Newsies and then things I like (Star Trek, Star Wars, Kingdom Hearts, this, that, the other...) that I like and enjoy talking about but am not actively involved in the fandom. Hell, I'm just NOW "actively" getting involved in comic fandom rather than just hiding away in my journal.
Other pairings: varied. I could list them all but...it'd take awhile. I'll read most anything except I don't like Logan/anyone. I like him miserable and alone. I'm mean like that.
Anything else? My journal's friendsonly. I have an icon comm I rarely, if ever, update: [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] and all my fic goes on my main journal because I'm getting more fandom friends who care about that sort of thing and because I'm too lazy to log out and log in to a writing journal every time I want to write.

I also prefer Logan all by his lonesome, though I can't say why.

erm, okay. I can kick it (yes I can!)
Age: old enough to lie about it :P (over 18 though, natch)
Hobbies/typical contents of your LJ: fandom stuff. Ultimates mumblings. Fic posts (for people who read my fic but don't follow all the myriad comms I post 'em on). Craft posts (I'm a knitter, and do the odd crochet).
So why do you ship Steve/Tony? Why not? I believe in the strength of the unsaid, of the bromance and uh... yeah.
Favorite Steve/Tony moment? Too many to mention, tbh
Spoiler policy:I'm easy
Other fandoms:Marvel fandom primarily.
Other pairings: I'm easy as long as they're plausible. I tend to write to prompts though, that's how I've found myself writing other pairings. I've written Stark/Hellrung, Hellrung/Rogers and any other prompt thrown at me (Jack of Hearts and Scott Lang, yes).
Anything else? Erm... no. I'm pretty easy. Most times I tend to live in my fanfic navel, in that I write, post, and run. So I tend not to comment or participate in fandom as much as I should.
Re: erm, okay. I can kick it (yes I can!)
O.o

Favorite Steve/Tony moment? The Confession
Spoiler policy: Fine being spoiled for most things. Trying to avoid spoilers for Iron Man II
Other fandoms:Due South, Highlander, DC, Torchwood
Other pairings:Jack/Gwen, John Hart/Gwen, Ianto/Jack/GwenBatman/Superman, Superboy/Robin, Catwoman/Batman, Nightwing/Oracle, RayK/Fraser, Methos/Duncan, Kirk/Spock, Dr. Strange/Pepper Potts, Steve/Tony/Pepper

Hobbies/typical contents of your LJ: Reading, gaming, comics, and Halloween. Typical content is fics, strange incidents, and worthless prattle.
So why do you ship Steve/Tony? One of the things I like about couples is friendship, and these two have it in spades. Plus, they look really hot together.
Favorite Steve/Tony moment? Just one? Ok, the bagel moment has to top my list.
Spoiler policy: I usually seek them out before hand. Just to prepare myself.
Other fandoms: Too many. Naruto, Deadpool, Final Fantasy, Robin, Weiss Kreuz, Xenosaga, Watchmen, and various other DC comics. Those're just the ones I'm currently active in to some extent.
Other pairings: We'd be here all day if I had to list them. I like all the types; het, slash, and gen. I like friendship pairs, and rare pairs. That good enough?
Anything else? I'm not very good getting things across in words, so sometimes the things I'll say will seem forced.

Age:21 (I'm I one of the youngest people here? That is so awesome! I'm really tired of fandoms where everyone's in high school.)
Hobbies/typical contents of your LJ: I don't post on my lj, but I do have a blog at delorianjones.blogspot.com, which is mostly TV, movie and comic book reviews, crafts, and indiscriminate ranting. I'm an anthropology student specializing in fan culture, so there's a lot of fandom theory stuff there, too.
So why do you ship Steve/Tony? Their love is just so epic and canon. I rant about it extensively to everyone, but I think you guys already get it. >_<
Favorite Steve/Tony moment? Their adorable man-dates in Marvel Adventures. 'Nuff said.
Spoiler policy: Policy? I don't mind them, if that's what you mean. hearing what's going to happen in a story is totally different from actually reading how that story unfolds and doesn't affect my future enjoyment of that story in any way.
Other fandoms: I used to hang around the fakenews/pundit slash comms a lot, as well as Criminal Minds, Cable and Deadpool, Doctor/Master, old school Trek, and Mighty Boosh, but mostly I just hang out here.
Other pairings: Outside the ones in the fandoms above, I also have a weakness for obvious pairings with no fandoms to speak of like Harold/Kumar, Jedediah/Octavius (Night at the Museum), and Vincent/Jerome (Gattaca).
Anything else? Not really. HI!

Hobbies/typical contents of your LJ: random and pointless rants/RP applications. Really need to get around to posting more.
So why do you ship Steve/Tony? Because they seem to fit for me. The way they work and communicate with eachother. It's not perfect but at least it feels real.
Favorite Steve/Tony moment? Confession and the scene with Cap riding on Tony's back. xD
Spoiler policy: Don't care. Spoil me!
Other fandoms: Naruto, Torchwood, Supernatural, House, Buffy (cuz it's immortal), Yami no matsuei, Nora, Skip Beat, Saiyuki/anything Minekura, Cable/Deapool (the comic series and some of their solo stuff), the list goes on...
Other pairings: Rictor/Shatterstar, Cable/Deadpool, Billy/Teddy, Naruto/Sasuke, Jack/Ianto, Tosh/Owen, House/Wilson, Spike/Xander, Tsuzuki/Hisoka, etc.
Anything else? I like listing stuff way too much. xD And I'm sorry your f-list failed you yesterday.

Hobbies/typical contents of your LJ: Overexcited fannishness coupled with horrible no good very bad fic ideas and the occasional bit of nonsensical family drama. Also memes.
So why do you ship Steve/Tony? I didn't mean to, in the beginning. But then the more I read, the more they grew on me. Like some sort of strangely endearing fungus.
Favorite Steve/Tony moment? Their telemarketer-busting date in Marvel Adventures.
Spoiler policy: I'm pretty much okay with them? I have a brother who loves to spoil me, so.
Other fandoms: Marvel comics in general owns my life (and wallet) right now, but the other major contenders are Fire Emblem, The World Ends with You, Buffy, Doctor Who, Supernatural, Dollhouse, CLAMP, Avatar, Kyou Kara Maou! and Kingdom Hearts. Oh, and Digimon. There's a lot of love for Digimon.
Other pairings: Oh man. Just covering Marvel-- Johnny/Peter, Reed/Sue, Scott/Jean, Billy/Teddy, Kate/Eli, Cable/Deadpool, Beast/Iceman, Clint Barton/Everyone, Hank/Jan, Xavin/Karolina, Chase/Gert... in short, a million things.
Anything else? I've been lurking here for ages, but pretty much the same "Steve who?" thing happened to me yesterday and I figured it might be time to make some friends. This seemed like a good way. So, um. Hi?

Favorite Steve/Tony moment? Red Zone
Spoiler policy: Anything but the Ironman 2 movie, I'm a buyer of DC and a casual follower of Marvel so I want to be spoiled
Other fandoms:Birds of Prey, Wonder Woman, Secret Six, Bones, How I Meet Your Mother, Tamora Pierce books, Avatar the Last Airbender, Channel Awesome, some CLAMP here and there, once upon a time I loved BLEACH and House.
Other pairings:Huntress/Question, Ichigo/Rukia, Booth/Bones

So why do you ship Steve/Tony? Because I'm a lover of subtext and have been seeing it in them since I knew what it was.
Favorite Steve/Tony moment? Mmm...there's too many, I'm bad at choosing!
Spoiler policy: I believe the journey's way more important than the destination, spoilers of all types are love, though I always try to put them behind an lj-cut.
Other fandoms: Star Trek XI, Supernatural, Gossip Girl, Psych, various other comic books (Batfamily stuff, WildCATS, The Darkness, etc.), Resident Evil, Stargate: Atlantis, Fringe, Greek, Torchwood, Heroes, Blade: Trinity
Other pairings: Cable/Deadpool, Kirk/McCoy, Spartan/Grifter, Deathstroke/Nightwing, Northstar/Iceman, Chuck Bass/Nate Archibald, Alastair/Dean Winchester, Cappie/Casey, Ronon/Sheppard

Hobbies/typical contents of your LJ: 80% fanstuff 15% misc/polls/memes 5% irl. CURRENTLY I am just getting back from a hiatus that uh really broke me of a lot of habits, I'm trying to get back in the groove.
So why do you ship Steve/Tony? uhm because true love conquers all.
Favorite Steve/Tony moment? Man this might make be a bad shipper but I really love the scene in CW when Tony calls Steve to meet him about what happened to Happy, and Steve ~came~ and then their respective teams followed and PHYSICALLY TORE THEM APART and steve was like "NO STOP--" homg so dramatic D:
Spoiler policy: I love to be spoiled, I sometimes forget others do not feel the same way, would be my policy.
Other fandoms: DC, emphasis on DCAU ~emphasis~ on Flash. I'm starting to get into Star Trek via the new movie. (I've always been a fan of DS9/TNG but didn't really ship.) (oh wait I shipped Tyr/Harper of Andromeda, that kind of counts) I was into House for a while. Aaand, ah, Harry Potter. I was into Firefly. Some animes. Narnia.
Other pairings: for this fandom? I ship Rhodes/Tony for Iron Man. For Marvel U, I guess the standards. Reed/Sue, oh I also ship Ben/Johnny. You know, I'm mostly a ~canoe~ type person, which is to say, I don't ship a pairing, I sit in a canoe with one character, and I like that one character with almost anyone. So, yeah.
Anything else? I . . am very bad at keeping up with my flists and responding to comments, but I do try. Also I don't like Jarvis and I don't like Pepper.

Age: 23
Hobbies/typical contents of your LJ: Fannish posts (generally Marvel, these days), bizarre happenings in my life which generally feature my roommate, baseball squealing (Boston Red Sox), book and movie discussion, general randomness. Also, my fic, or links to it on my coauthor's journal. Occasional grad student grumblings and assorted rl whining, though I try to keep it to a minimum. Hobbies include music, fic, the Middle Ages, forays into the Sims (2), movies, and books. (Especially used books scored for crazy cheap.)
So why do you ship Steve/Tony?: Fell into the fandom by accident and fell in *love.* I see them as very much symbiotic and working perfectly together. (Plus, Tony angsts so well, and I am a lit major who loves her some angst - as long as it gets nicely resolved, preferably with porn. Or dates in the park.)
Favorite Steve/Tony moment?: All of Marvel Adventures: Avengers. Seriously. Happiest comic ever!
Spoiler policy: I'm good with spoilers. (Because I'm poor, and don't get the comics right away anyway.)
Other fandoms: West Wing, Discworld, Harry Potter, Firefly; back in the day, some serious Star Wars love. (Occasionally I wander into Twilight fandom but it scares the crap out of me, so I leave pretty quickly.)
Other pairings: I will read just about anything, when the mood strikes. (Really, anything. I've been known to seek out bad fic, on purpose, when looking for a chuckle/distraction/procrastination tool. Can't really do that in this fandom, though... thank goodness for Harry Potter and fanfiction.net.)
Anything else?: My journal is generally sparse; I'm a notorious lurker. (But I read EVERYTHING posted on this comm, and on my f-list, so if you're looking for an audience... I need some friends. Sigh.)

Hobbies/typical contents of your LJ: Right now the contents of my LJ pretty much consist of complaints about my big_bang and fic. Hobbies include video games, knitting, learning how to bake (why do I suck at this so much?). I am an avid scifi/fantasy reader, and I love Robin McKinley's books.
So why do you ship Steve/Tony? Because it's pretty much canon at this point. Also, I am shallow, and they are pretty.
Favorite Steve/Tony moment? Red Zone, mouth to mouth. <3
Spoiler policy: I will read the hell out of comics spoilers; not so much for tv/movies. I post spoilers behind a cut if I happen upon them.
Other fandoms: Just Star Trek XI right now, but I used to be really into SGA & NCIS.
Other pairings: Tony/anybody, seriously. Also Kirk/Spock and Spock/Bones.

Hobbies/typical contents of your LJ: I only use LJ for commenting, following communities, and the occasional happy-birthday to a friend anymore. Any content is posted on Dreamwidth and InsaneJournal (I'm ouri on both of those as well) - rants, fan-babble, non-spoiler progress blips on IM2 from Jon Favreau's Twitter account.
Hobbies: SF/Fantasy books, some video games, anime & manga, D&D, drawing, just started learning to knit.
So why do you ship Steve/Tony? I blame
Favorite Steve/Tony moment? Hmm, if I have to pick just one? Red Zone. <3
Spoiler policy: They don't much bother me.
Other Fandoms: recent? Bleach, Final Fantasy, Firefly. Collected X-Men comics for a good chunk of the 80s. ^^;;
Other pairings: Marvel, I mostly stick with the canon stuff, except for Steve & Tony. Sephiroth/Cloud. Willing to pair Ishida with half the cast of Bleach, het, slash, whatever. >,>

Name: Arles is fine.
Age: Heh. On the younger end of the scale here.
Hobbies/typical contents of your LJ: I never post anything on my journal. Ever. Hobbies include art, music, comics (duh?) and watching movies simply to point out flaws in plot, continuity or failure in relation to the source material. Loudly. During the movie. To the annoyance of whoever ends ups next to me. If I could write anything decent, my LJ would have fanfiction. If I could draw, I would present to you all fantastic pictures. (I, in my delusion, prefer to attribute my lack of drawing skill to being young and incredibly lazy, rather than "no talent", because I actually enjoy it even if I don't always like the finished product =D) Perhaps I should try my hand at icon making and see where that takes me?
So why do you ship Steve/Tony? It's like asking why I breathe. BECAUSE IT MUST BE DONE. And the friendship is so adorable, and they are both "TRE PRETTEH", therefore - slashing unavoidable.
Favorite Steve/Tony moment? Oh. Uh. Steve riding Tony like a pony =D
Spoiler policy: Meh.
Other fandoms: Star Wars (bit ambivalent about the movies but the fandom often tosses up some interesting things, and the books are mostly good), Discworld, Good Omens, Revolutionary Girl Utena, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Stargate: SG1 & Atlantis, etc, whatever tickles my fancy (and it is indeed ticklish).
Other pairings: I'll pretty much read anything, however, pairings which always draw me in are Cable/Deadpool, Wiccan/Hulkling, Karolina/Xavin, Scarlet Witch/Vision, Spiderman/Venom(circa Eddie Brock), Aziraphale/Crowley (Good Omens), Utena/Anthy (RGU) and Vimes/Sybil (Discworld), Apollo/Midnighter (The Authority). Or anything with Namor, or Todd the Wraith from SGA.
Anything else?
I'm a ranty-lurker-geek, who contributes nothing in the greater scheme of the fandoms I lurk in. Nice to meet you.

Hobbies/typical contents of your LJ: It's been dead lately because I've been working hard at school, I use it mostly to vent, and for coms.
So why do you ship Steve/Tony? Because I love that Steve believes in Tony, Tony needs that
Favorite Steve/Tony moment? Any time they have to fly together, with Tony holding Steve so cute.
Spoiler policy: Any news is good news
Other fandoms: Not at the moment but it comes in waves
Other pairings: Deadpool/Cable, Billy/Teddy
Anything else? Not at the moment...
oooh, oooh, I wanna play too! =D
Age: 26
Hobbies/typical contents of your LJ: Hah, honestly? I rarely ever use LJ for anything aside from lurking on various comms, although I'll occasionally post something to my own journal if it's too random to really go anywhere else.
So why do you ship Steve/Tony? They pretty much embody everything I like about slash, really. Like, to a scary degree. To list off details would be to describe their dynamic word for word, really. (Tony's woobie factor and Steve's protective streak play a large part, though.)
Favorite Steve/Tony moment? Any time Tony actually stops and thinks 'What would Steve do?' whether or not he acts on it. (Sentient Armor, anyone?)
Spoiler policy:I eat them up. I joined the game pretty late and I'm still catching up, so chances are I'll hear them anyway and I stopped fighting it a long time ago.
Other fandoms: Hoo, boy. I juggle quite a few of them. I used to be really into a lot of anime and manga back in the day (Slayers, Trigun, Nana, Fruits Basket etc.) Lessee.... For comics, the big ones right now (aside from all the Marvel) are Fables and Y the Last Man, I also really get into a lot of games (FFXII was big for awhile, Okami, Okage Shadow King, NiGHTS, the Jak series, Prince of Persia, Legacy of Kain) various movies and a few random tv shows. Also, books. Lots of books.
Other pairings: I'm mostly into gen, to be honest. I'll usually only ship one or two pairings at a time, although there are certainly lots of others I'll read just for fun. (My current OTP should be rather obvious ;)
Anything else? Cupcakes? Cupcakes. =9

Name: Hallidae, Biscuit to a certain handful.
Age: 23 for about two more weeks.
Hobbies/typical contents of your LJ: Fanfic, fanart, rambling about cooking and food, and other assorted bits.
So why do you ship Steve/Tony? I enjoy a nice mix of fluff and fucked up.
Favorite Steve/Tony moment? That slashtastic CPR from Red Zone.
Spoiler policy: I read and edit TV Tropes. Enough said.
Other fandoms: Hellsing, Avatar, Girl Genius, Fullmetal Alchemist, Code Geass, Slayers, xxxholic/Tsubasa (that I've done fic or art for). Eureka, Nu!Battlestar Galactica, Time Warp, Dirty Jobs, original flavor!CSI, DCAU, Tamora Pierce, and other assorted book fandoms that I lurk in.
Other pairings: Lots of people/Havoc, Anderson/Maxwell, Zuko/Mai (with some sibling-fluff Zuko/Toph/Aang), Jeremiah/Sayoko, Milly/Shirley, Hank/Jan/Peter/MJ (the inside of my head is weird, okay?), Tony/Tiberius, Baltar/Gaeta (shut it) and Baltar/Caprica, Nathan/Jack/Allison, Dynast/Phibrizo, Grissom/Heather, Roger/Thom (with Jealous!Alex on the side).
Anything else? Waffles? And I tend to post about whatever's interesting/goes on in my head, so there's a lot of random inanity between fic or art posts.
