Note: I started writing this quite some time ago, but could never really figure out how to end it until now. The story is set immediately after the first Iron Man movie. At time of posting, the second movie hasn't yet been released here, so anything I've included in this fic which somehow resembles Iron Man 2 is purely a coincidence. Or a stroke of genius, depending... lol!

( Of course Tony didn't think he was the only superhero around - anyone with half a mind who'd been living this century had to have heard of Spider-Man for one, or the Fantastic Four, and it would have been pretty hard to miss the fact that there were mutants around. )
